Turkey Tail Mushroom
Turkey Tail mushrooms, botanically classified as Trametes versicolor, are multicolored, striped fungi that belong to the Polyporaceae family. Growing on decomposing hardwood, Turkey Tail mushrooms are one of the most common varieties of fungi found all over the world. Turkey Tail mushrooms get their common name from their resemblance to a turkey’s multicolored tail. These mushrooms have been used for centuries by herbalists and healers for their medicinal benefits. Turkey Tail mushrooms were recorded in medicinal texts as early as the 15th century in China.
Organic Cinnamon Hydrosol
Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) has been used by humans for thousands of years for its culinary and medicinal benefits. There are records of cinnamon being used in China around 2000 B.C. Cinnamon was brought to Europe in the Middle Ages by Arab traders and quickly became very popular with the European elite for its flavor and many healing benefits. Ceylon and Cassia cinnamon varieties have been used historically for their antioxidant properties
to help promote beautiful skin, detoxification, heart health, appetite, eye and sight health, and cognitive function. Cinnamon is a warming herb and sets the stage for the body to detox and move energy.
Organic Plant Hydrosols
All tinctures have multiple parts: the plant extract, water, and some type of preservative (usually alcohol, glycerin, or vinegar). For the water portion of our tinctures, we love using hydrosols due to their gentle healing properties and flavorful effects. Since 5000 BC, alchemists have used secret techniques to extract the healing properties of plants. In the practice of plant alchemy, every plant is seen to possess 3 philosophical elements that alchemists work with: The Plant Body (physically expressed as its crystalline mineral content), The Plant Soul (expressed as its essential oil, which captures the true essence of the plant), and The Plant Spirit (expressed as the alcohol derived from the plant during the process of fermentation). Hydrosols are created when the Soul aspect of the plant (the essential oil) is extracted using the sacred art of distillation. When the essential oil is separated, the aqueous part remaining is the hydrosol.
We feel hydrosols are a perfect medium to add both an additional healing aspect and flavorful signature to our extracts. They perfectly dance with the many healing properties of the mushrooms that rest in our bottles.
Organic Exotic Craft Alcohols
Alcohol is typically used as a way to dissolve and extract the healing constituents contained within plants and mushrooms. Alcohol also ensures the longest preservation time and is safe, natural, and organic. This has been the case for thousands of years, and to be exact, the use of medicinal wines in ancient Egypt dates back to about 3150 BC. Although some components of plants and mushrooms are only soluble in water (like when you brew tea), other components of the same plants and mushrooms are only soluble in alcohol. Therefore, for the extraction phase, alcohol is the most standard way to pull the most healing properties out of our plants and mushrooms. Our organic hand-crafted alcohols are made from exotic fruit sources which we feel highly enhance the overall enjoyability of our extracts. We love them, and hope that you do too.

Our Mushrooms
Only a fruiting body can be called a “mushroom”, not the mycelium. We spare no expense and give you only the “fruit”. Our mushroom fruiting bodies are grown in nature with natural sunlight, on substrates native to the mushrooms (like hardwoods), thereby giving our mushrooms a unique complex of potent full-spectrum constituents only found in naturally grown mushroom fruiting bodies.

Our Gold Standard
Our gold standard extraction process pulls all constituents from the mushroom. We use only fruiting bodies grown on natural substrate (no myceliated grain). Our mushrooms are USDA organic, GMO-free, and tested for active compounds.
